What you will do

• Design and develop firmware and embedded system architecture for ARM-based microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering, RF, security, cloud services, and AI teams to build secure, reliable, high-performance systems.
• Bring up and debug new hardware in the lab and support builds at remote production sites.
• Coordinate development efforts with vendors, consultants, and manufacturing partners.
• Establish and manage metrics for code size, model performance, memory footprint, power consumption, and latency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing firmware for embedded microcontrollers.
• Deep knowledge of embedded firmware, ARM MCU architecture, radio stacks including Bluetooth, BLE, and Wi-Fi, and sensor and audio pipelines.
• Experience with low-power systems, audio subsystem integration, and cloud-connected embedded devices.
• Proficiency in FreeRTOS or Zephyr, Embedded C, C++, communication protocols, and unit testing frameworks.
• Ability to work in large multi-developer codebases and collaborate in a healthy team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Qualcomm, STM32, Cypress/Infineon PSoC, or Nordic platforms.
• Experience shipping high-reliability production code.
• Comfort with low-level hardware debugging tools and techniques.
