Salary: $81,300–$122,000 per year

What you will do

• Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of firmware and software systems.
• Analyze hardware and software interactions and collaborate with Hardware Engineers.
• Develop design and test documentation.
• Build knowledge of engineering processes, products, and technologies.
• Apply company engineering, operational, and manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of embedded-systems firmware development, including C++ and assembly languages.
• Understanding of real-time firmware design.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills, assume responsibilities, and work cooperatively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with C, Python, scripting languages, debuggers, industrial controls, or modern communications protocols.
• Knowledge of three-phase electric power systems, digital and analog circuitry, digital communications, or signal processing.
• Project management experience.
