What you will do

• Design and develop SERDES/D2D firmware for reliable, scalable, high-performance networking systems using embedded C/C++.
• Develop features for MCU coprocessors and hardware-based accelerators.
• Develop and troubleshoot software for hardware bring-up, virtualized hardware, and multithreaded systems.
• Analyze and improve software performance on hirify.global SoCs using hardware and simulators.
• Collaborate with system validation and hardware/software engineering teams to resolve customer issues.
• Design and develop firmware and software for networking products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree or PhD with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with networking systems, embedded C/C++, MCU firmware, and Linux kernel driver development.
• Experience with MCU hardware bring-up, JTAG, GPIO, and Ethernet protocols.
• Experience developing AI-accelerated software.
• Eligibility to access export-controlled technology under applicable U.S. export control laws is required; some applicants may undergo an export license review.

Nice to have

• Programming experience with Python or Assembly.
