Sr. News Producer (Spanish News)

Location: 2350 NW 117 Place, Miami, Florida; must be willing to work in the greater Miami area. On-site work may include an in-person interview.

What you will do

• Lead production of Noticias Telemundo AHORA and contribute to weekday newscasts.
• Select, assign, write, and organize news stories in show rundowns.
• Line-produce live linear and streaming broadcasts in a control room or Tricaster environment.
• Coordinate video, graphics, scripts, interviews, and other elements for planned and breaking news coverage.
• Write and revise scripts, headlines, and updates for accuracy, grammar, and editorial clarity.
• Guide talent, producers, and technical teams while collaborating with assignment editors, reporters, digital news, production, graphics, and promotions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of newsroom experience in Spanish and 2 years of experience building show rundowns in a cable, broadcast, or digital environment.
• Proficiency in I-News, VIZ, Flowics, and Media Central.
• Strong editorial, writing, research, news-gathering, and social media skills.
• Fully fluent Spanish and English, written and verbal, required.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States, a valid driver’s license, and availability for weekends, nights, early mornings, holidays, breaking news, and special coverage.
