Claims Adjuster (State National)

What you will do

• Examine claim forms, records, and investigation findings to determine insurance coverage.
• Interpret policy coverage and assess the extent of loss, damage, or liability.
• Calculate and approve claim payments within the authorized monetary limit.
• Prepare claim payments, obtain liability releases, and settle claims.
• Comply with applicable state laws, company policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Adjuster license required.
• 0–3 years of claims adjusting experience.
• Knowledge of claims adjusting and basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Typing speed of 45 words per minute.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Bilingual Spanish skills.
• Knowledge of Collateral Protection Insurance and other insurance products.
• InsurTrak knowledge.
