Outside Property Claim Associate

Location: Westminster, Colorado, serving the northwestern Denver area; the role is remotely based with mobile work, work from home, office work, and residential or commercial site inspections. The candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory.

Salary: $52,600–$86,800 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentives.

What you will do

• Complete a structured 9–12 month training program covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems, and procedures.
• Review, investigate, document, and evaluate first-party property claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Interpret policy coverage and assess building and contents damage to prepare written or computer-assisted estimates.
• Communicate professionally with customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders while maintaining accurate claim records.
• Inspect dwellings and structures, including roofs, attics, and crawl spaces; travel extensively, including overnight trips, when required.

Requirements

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned northwestern Denver territory at personal expense.
• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree and prior customer service or insurance experience are preferred.
• Ability to obtain required adjuster licenses and/or a UAS Remote Pilot Certification within three months of starting.
• Ability to inspect structures, carry and set up 38–49-pound ladders, climb ladders, and work in confined areas.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with claims management or estimating software.
• Strong communication, judgment, organization, conflict-resolution, and customer-service skills.
