Software Developer Co-op (AI)

Location: Canada; available on-site in the Toronto office, hybrid, or fully remote within Canada. Applicants must be enrolled in a registered university co-op program in Ontario and available for a 12- or 16-month full-time co-op starting in May 2027.

What you will do

• Develop features and functionality for a financial planning platform used by finance and business teams.
• Collaborate with developers in Agile Scrum teams to design, build, and deploy product improvements.
• Identify and resolve production issues to improve platform stability and reliability.
• Take ownership of defined product areas and gain hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Work with TypeScript and React, Java and Spring Boot microservices, and AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute to Microsoft ecosystem integrations involving Excel, Teams, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Azure.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a registered university co-op program in Ontario in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Available for a 12- or 16-month full-time co-op beginning in May 2027.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in writing clean, maintainable code.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional Agile teams and adapt to changing priorities.
• Interest in modern development tools, technologies, and AI-driven solutions.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, or production systems.
• Interest in participating in hackathons, guilds, and cross-functional product initiatives.
