Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Canada; fully remote

hirify.global provides turnkey delivery infrastructure for enterprise retailers, including APIs, integrations, and operational tools.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deliver complex features across backend services and web applications.
• Build and maintain reliable, secure, and well-documented REST APIs and webhooks for enterprise customers.
• Lead third-party integrations from technical scoping through go-live, collaborating with Product, Success, and customer engineering teams.
• Improve the hirify.global Dashboard using data and customer feedback so operators can manage mission-critical deliveries efficiently.
• Own production quality through monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventative improvements.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, technical design, mentoring, and daily use of AI tools for development, testing, and debugging.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience and a record of owning production systems.
• Strong backend experience with Node.js and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience building web applications with React or a similar modern framework.
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices, working with SQL and NoSQL databases, and building on AWS.
• Experience with third-party integrations, webhooks, authentication, failure handling, and production reliability.
• Strong ownership, communication, customer collaboration, and fluent daily use of AI development tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with delivery, logistics, or marketplace platforms.
• Experience with workflow orchestration such as Temporal or event-driven systems such as Kafka.
• Experience with enterprise integrations and security requirements, including SSO, IP allowlisting, and audit logging.
