Agentic AI Engineer / Software Engineer - AI Applications (Remote US)

Location: Remote USA; candidates must be permanently domiciled in the United States and maintain a U.S. home address. U.S. citizenship or a Green Card is required for a U.S. Government contract. Eligibility must be verified through legally authorized identification via a third-party provider.

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Build agentic AI applications that solve real customer use cases.
• Design agentic workflows, plugins, and tool integrations that deliver measurable value.
• Translate ambiguous operational problems into intuitive AI experiences.
• Rapidly build, validate, and iterate applications into production-ready solutions.
• Partner with platform engineers to shape reusable abstractions and components.
• Own customer-facing quality across UX, reliability, performance, and evaluation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Production experience with agentic AI applications, AI agents, workflows, MCP, and tool orchestration.
• Experience integrating APIs, enterprise systems, and external data sources.
• Ability to move quickly from ideas to working products while maintaining engineering quality.
• Strong product judgment, communication, collaboration, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Startup experience or comfort working in 0→1 product environments.
• Knowledge of AI security practices, including RBAC/ABAC, audit logging, and prompt-level safeguards.
• Exposure to regulated or sensitive industries such as finance, healthcare, or telecommunications.
