Lead Test Operator (Monday-Thursday)

Location: Onsite in Englewood/Centennial, Colorado, with occasional travel to Cincinnati, Ohio, Knoxville, Tennessee, or other test and manufacturing locations. Monday–Thursday schedule with four 10-hour shifts.

Salary: $38.00–$43.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Install, align, connect, and operate small turbine engines in test cells by following standard work instructions and pre-programmed test sequences.
• Apply and install instrumentation such as thermocouples, pressure transducers, strain gauges, and accelerometers.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic equipment, measuring equipment, drawings, schematics, and computer-based work instructions.
• Perform mechanical and electrical work on supporting equipment, including cables, pipes, fittings, fixtures, tooling, and instrumentation terminations.
• Maintain test equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues, and support test procedure and work-instruction improvements.
• Document technical data, timekeeping, significant issues, root-cause actions, corrective actions, and process improvements.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience, including two years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly testing experience, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Understanding of testing processes, standard work instruction adherence, hand-tool use, and lean manufacturing.
• Problem-solving ability, initiative, strong task execution skills, and effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to work standing for most of the day and lift up to 35 pounds.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance are required.
• English communication is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with gas turbine engines for aviation applications.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, fuel supply systems, electrical cabling, or wiring.
