Building Department Lead - Electrical Wiring (2nd Shift)

Location: Fontana, California, USA; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $21.68–$29.81 per hour

What you will do

• Lead assigned employees in completing electrical wiring, assemblies, and sub-assemblies for manufacturing projects.
• Delegate work based on team members’ skills and experience and support training and orientation for new employees.
• Assist with technical issues and advanced assignment-related problems.
• Inspect completed work and maintain accurate records of labor time, materials, and inventory resources.
• Address minor team discipline issues and partner with the supervisor or production manager on department issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe production area and follow required PPE procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least four years of experience in manufacturing, electrical wiring, or a related field.
• Previous experience leading a team of employees.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management.
• Ability to interpret written instructions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams and perform basic technical measurements.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, perform repetitive tasks, and lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds; PPE is required on the production floor.
