Construction Liability Claim Representative

Salary: $67,000–$110,600 annual base salary

What you will do

• Handle construction claims, including customer contact, coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and resolution.
• Communicate with policyholders, claimants, providers, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide claim updates.
• Determine claim eligibility, coverage, liability, and settlement amounts in accordance with company policies and state-specific regulations.
• Maintain accurate and complete claim-file documentation and transaction records.
• Identify and escalate potential fraud or complex claims for further investigation.
• Coordinate with investigators, legal teams, customer service, and other internal partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Three years of experience in insurance claims, preferably involving construction claims.
• Experience with claims management and software systems.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and terminology, with the ability to interpret and explain policies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service, and settlement negotiation skills.
• At least one year of bodily injury liability, liability, or property claim handling experience, or successful completion of the hirify.global Claim Representative training program.
