Senior Systems Engineer (Indications & Warning)

Salary: $110,204.91–$191,624.96 projected annual compensation range

What you will do

• Support Enterprise Resiliency Indications and Warning systems in a SETA capacity.
• Create and assess requirements, CONOPS, architecture products, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Drive end-to-end systems integration and baseline closure for space protection activities.
• Run system readiness events using approved integration and closure processes.
• Coordinate with government systems engineers, acquisition offices, customers, and contractor stakeholders.
• Support strategic planning for future capability acquisition and insertion into the enterprise baseline.

Requirements

• Active and maintainable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• 8–10 years of experience with a BS, 6–8 years with an MS, or 3–5 years with a PhD in a STEM field.
• Technical experience with space-based sensors and systems, including space, ground, and communications system vulnerabilities.
• Experience with large acquisition systems engineering efforts, the Systems Engineering V-model, Agile processes, requirements engineering, verification, validation, test, and integration.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, strong written and oral communication, senior-stakeholder briefing experience, and the ability to work across integrated engineering teams.
• Ability to work on-site with government customers in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• OCSMP certification, MBSE, SysML, Confluence, or Jira experience.
• Experience with Intelligence Community or Department of Defense customers.
• Knowledge of ground systems, space-ground architecture, mission planning, control, processing, and system performance analysis.
• Experience with requirements repositories, threat scenarios, gap analysis, CONOPS development, and Agile-aligned VV&T strategies.
