Product Engineer III (Electric Motors)

What you will do

• Develop electric motors and related products that meet customer requirements, cost targets, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance on motors and components to customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Define design parameters, component and process specifications, and technical approaches for product development.
• Develop simulation tools and advanced test procedures for electric motors and motor applications.
• Lead or support new product development projects, engineering change orders, competitive analysis, and field-failure investigations.
• Coordinate or supervise technicians, new engineers, interns, and co-op students when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent related experience; a Master of Engineering is optional.
• 5–8 years of product design experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles, customer applications, motor theory, and motor design programs.
• Experience with problem solving, technical communication, Microsoft Office, and Lean principles.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
