Subcontracts Manager

Location: United States; remote opportunity

Salary: $83,890–$142,610 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute subcontracts based on business requirements, market analysis, and procurement best practices.
• Prepare vendor agreements and related documents, including flowing down prime contract terms and supporting negotiations.
• Develop risk-based negotiation strategies and subcontract language.
• Coordinate approvals with Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, business stakeholders, and vendors.
• Manage vendor due diligence, implementations, renewals, terminations, performance issues, milestones, and invoicing status.
• Maintain subcontract documentation, modifications, task and delivery orders, funding records, certifications, and supplier qualification files.

Requirements

• 7+ years of purchasing experience and 5+ years of subcontract administration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of legal subcontract language and demonstrated subcontract negotiation skills.
• Experience administering CPFF, T&M, and FFP subcontracts for services, research and development, systems integration, and software or hardware delivery.
• In-depth understanding of commercial business terminology, Federal Acquisition Regulations, FAR, and DFARS.
• Strong communication, facilitation, consultation, project management, collaboration, organization, and time management skills; advanced Word and Excel proficiency and intermediate PowerPoint proficiency.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management.
• CFCM, CPM, or CPSM certification.
