Procurement Buyer, Expert (Hybrid)

Location: Folsom, California, United States; hybrid schedule with onsite work three days per week. Candidates must reside in California and meet the onsite requirements.

Salary: $112,650–$176,015 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage procurement and inventory planning for manufacturing materials, components, equipment, and services.
• Lead sourcing activities for new product introduction programs and support cross-site and global sourcing initiatives.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and commercial agreements.
• Build supplier relationships, monitor performance, and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Partner with engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, and global commodity management teams to improve quality, delivery, cost, and service.
• Drive supplier qualification, cost savings, inventory optimization, process efficiency, and supply continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or manufacturing purchasing experience.
• Experience with supplier management, contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, manufacturing operations, and NPI projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement tools.
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• CPSM, CPM, CSCP, APICS, or similar procurement or supply chain certification.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of global sourcing, supplier risk management, and cost reduction strategies.
• Experience leading procurement and supply chain improvement initiatives.
