Sr. Manager, Global Procurement Lead (AI/ML)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, USA, or Creve Coeur, Missouri, USA

Salary: $131,750–$155,000 annually

What you will do

• Oversee global procurement relationships across clients, account management, vendors, corporate stakeholders, and category managers.
• Analyze account-wide spend, suppliers, operations, and processes to develop and implement procurement strategies.
• Lead complex RFPs, evaluate responses, negotiate with vendors, and manage contractual records and compliance controls.
• Develop procurement tracking, reporting, and supplier-performance mechanisms, addressing quality, delivery, and service issues.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to understand procurement requirements and deliver account goals, metrics, and KPIs.
• Lead procurement personnel and use AI-powered analytics and machine learning for resource allocation, workload forecasting, capacity planning, and supplier scorecards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally in facility services or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with e-RFPs, reverse auctions, e-catalogs, and contract management systems.
• Legal knowledge and the ability to prepare, negotiate, and explain agreements and amendments.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Management experience with direct or indirect reporting structures and the ability to work independently across multiple tasks.
