Autonomous Vehicle Operations Manager (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Miami, FL; onsite daily. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

hirify.global AV operates autonomous vehicle depots and fleet infrastructure supporting the commercialization of autonomous transportation.

What you will do

• Develop fleet health and deployment strategies with the General Manager.
• Ensure vehicles are diagnosed, deployment-ready, safe, and performing to standard.
• Lead technical initiatives, diagnostic methodologies, predictive maintenance, upgrades, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze fleet performance data, monitor KPIs, and report results to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with product teams, ride-hail operations managers, diagnostic teams, and vendor partners to maximize vehicles in service.
• Build and lead the FD&R team, manage staffing, coach team members, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field; autonomous vehicle experience is preferred.
• Experience leading and developing vehicle technicians in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive vehicle systems and related infrastructure.
• Project management experience, including successful execution and vehicle-flow coordination among partners.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and Google Workspace skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and located in Miami, FL for daily onsite work.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with the Kaizen framework and daily incremental process improvement.
• Autonomous vehicle experience.
