Logistics Process Engineer (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Fully onsite in Alamance, North Carolina, United States

What you will do

• Implement logistics processes, material-flow strategies, equipment selections, and project time estimates.
• Analyze warehouse, floor-storage, labor, workflow, and material-utilization opportunities.
• Partner with inventory control, operations, quality, safety, procurement, and NPI teams to address root causes of inventory inaccuracies.
• Develop standardized work, PFEP models, procedures, IT tools, and systems that simplify processes and improve accuracy.
• Evaluate pilots, simulations, prototypes, equipment, and process modifications.
• Lead work-improvement projects, train operators and supervisors, and champion Kaizen events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of high-volume manufacturing experience.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience analyzing processes, identifying waste, improving material flow, and increasing inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Alamance, North Carolina.
