Manufacturing Technician III - Sterile Filling (Biotechnology)

Location: West Chester, Ohio, United States; onsite work in classified and non-classified production areas

Salary: $24.00–$38.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate, assemble, disassemble, start up, adjust, and sanitize sterile filling equipment.
• Perform filter integrity testing, in-process checks, material handling, and data entry in SCADA and HMI systems.
• Demonstrate advanced aseptic technique and participate in media fills, line interventions, and environmental monitoring.
• Complete batch records and GMP documentation while maintaining data integrity and cGMP compliance.
• Support preventive maintenance, validation and engineering protocols, 5S, problem-solving, and process improvement activities.
• Train and evaluate Technician II employees, maintain certifications, and support cross-functional work areas.

Requirements

• Progressive experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing, including independent filling operations.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations, deviation reporting, change control, and data integrity principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine process or equipment issues and accurately complete controlled documentation.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.
• Experience mentoring or training technicians and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work in cleanrooms with aseptic gowning, personal protective equipment, physical activity, and occupational health requirements.

Nice to have

• High school or vocational school graduation.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing.
• Prior aseptic manufacturing or lean manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP, or Veeva Vault.
