Shipping & Receiving Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Pueblo, Colorado, United States; travel up to 5% within the continental United States may be required.

Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour base salary.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, and certificates of conformance, then process receipts in NetSuite.
• Document and escalate shipment discrepancies, damages, shortages, and non-conforming materials.
• Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, carrier coordination, bills of lading, packing lists, and export paperwork.
• Coordinate receiving inspections, government freight, accounts payable discrepancies, and shipment exceptions.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, inventory, and material certification records for AS9100 traceability and audit readiness.
• Follow ITAR, export control, DOT hazmat, explosives licensing, and applicable federal transportation requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 21 years of age.
• 1–3 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Forklift certification is required or must be obtained upon hire; ability to lift, carry, or move items up to 50 pounds is required.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain applicable state and federal explosives licenses, pass drug screening and background checks, and meet U.S. government requirements.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or otherwise eligible to obtain required ITAR and export authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense, aerospace, chemical, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with ITAR, export control, government freight, NetSuite or similar ERP/MRP systems, and DOT hazmat requirements including Class 1 / Division 1.1.
