Shipping and Receiving Associate (Defense)

What you will do

• Process, inspect, label, and organize incoming shipments and packages.
• Verify quantities and shipment accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Prepare, package, label, stage, and coordinate outbound shipments with carriers.
• Route materials for inventory processing and support accurate organization and storage.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Identify and resolve shipment or documentation discrepancies while expediting material flow for development and production schedules.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Valid driver's license.
• 2+ years of forklift or material-handling equipment experience with valid certification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately in digital systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Torrance, California.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and lift packages weighing 25–75 lbs throughout the shift.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP, MES, warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience packaging and handling hazardous materials shipments.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
