Industrial Engineer - 3rd Shift

Location: West Lafayette, Indiana, United States; onsite 3rd shift position

Salary: $80,900–$101,100 per year, plus a 6% third-shift differential

What you will do

• Develop production systems, working methods, and work instructions that reduce production costs while maintaining quality and function.
• Support technical solutions, Lean production systems, and efficient assembly-line development.
• Improve process planning for current and new products and standardize assembly practices and cycle times.
• Model short- and long-term production strategies for rate changes and headcount planning.
• Develop production flows and facility layouts, including workflow analysis, capacity planning, and accident-prevention measures.
• Drive continuous improvement and coordinate work between manufacturing engineering and production teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to collaborate across functional areas and work independently.
• Ability to work an extended or flexible schedule supporting the business, including the 3rd shift.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
