Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States; onsite work with frequent movement between the office and production floor. The role requires working in a clean room without daylight or windows and occasionally accessing machinery by ladder. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
Salary: $76,000–$104,500 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses.

What you will do
- Develop engineering solutions for assigned projects and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, implement, and report on validation activities, testing, experiments, data analysis, and engineering studies.
- Support equipment settings, control points, start-up activities, test batches, and the installation of new equipment and systems.
- Perform technical troubleshooting and problem resolution for existing and new equipment and control systems.
- Lead equipment-related change controls and perform NCR/CAPA investigations and tasks.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and other internal and external functional teams, providing production training and technical support.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering required; Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering preferred.
- Strong accountability, ownership, leadership, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices and applications.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, AB500, safety PLCs, HMI communication, and industrial networks and interfaces including TCP/IP, RS-232, Profibus, Fieldbus, and HSSB.
- Hands-on electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics, Category 3 safety systems, E-Plan P8, AutoCAD, schematic interpretation, drives, motion control, encoders, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- U.S. work authorization for any employer is required; cannot sponsor or take over employment visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated industry.
- Robotics experience with Fanuc, Yaskawa, or Staubli.
- Vision systems experience with Cognex or Keyence.
- Programming experience with C#, C++, VB, or SQL Server.
