Test Equipment Deployment Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY / East Aurora, NY

Salary: $32.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Deploy test equipment for use by customers within hirify.global facilities and by external customers worldwide.
• Assemble, modify, and install equipment using electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings.
• Fabricate and install hydraulic lines using flanging, flaring, bending equipment, hand tools, fixtures, and measuring devices.
• Work with design and deployment engineering during development and provide hydraulic and mechanical build support.
• Follow health and safety practices, document issues, and support work-related risk assessments.
• Improve test equipment deployment processes, procedures, and standard tools.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a related technical field.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based instructions in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, mechanical assembly drawings, and related blueprints.
• Ability to work onsite on the first shift in Buffalo/East Aurora, New York.
• Position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Experience fabricating or modifying parts using mills or welders.
