Final Test Engineering Technician III - Week Night (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Kalispell, Montana, United States; onsite week-night role with 10% travel

Salary: $25.00–$34.70 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical problems, including subsystems and specialized test equipment.
• Perform new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing according to engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, written instructions, and verbal descriptions while maintaining logbooks and test procedures.
• Follow safety procedures and support a secure, clean, and healthy manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, lifting, and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom with required personal protective equipment and in environments with potentially significant noise.
• Ability to distinguish colors and communicate technical information effectively.
