Hedge Fund Finance - Vice President (Hedge Fund Accounting)

Location: Greenwich, Connecticut, United States. Hybrid schedule with office attendance Monday through Thursday and remote work available on Friday.

Salary: $140,000–$175,000 base salary per year, plus equity and an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and manage a portfolio of private equity and hedge fund feeder funds.
• Support new business implementation and fund launches, including reviewing LPA, PPM, and operational questionnaire documentation.
• Review monthly and quarterly NAV statements, partners’ capital account statements, capital call and distribution analyses, investor allocation files, and investor notices.
• Monitor compliance with partnership operating agreement terms and oversee annual financial statement preparation under US GAAP.
• Participate in management-level meetings and coordinate with legal, compliance, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Partner with Technology and Product teams to improve process automation and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 10–15 years of fund management accounting and operations experience, focused on alternative investments.
• Strong accounting, reporting, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new topics and work in an evolving business environment.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to maintain a broader strategic perspective.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or progress toward an MBA.
• CPA, CFA, or CAIA credentials or progress toward a designation.
• Interest in applying innovative technology to fund finance operations.
