Veterinary Service Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States; frequent travel to customer locations and overnight travel required.

Salary: $25.72–$33.45 per hour.

What you will do

• Respond independently to customer service calls and diagnose, repair, modify, remove, and install veterinary equipment.
• Perform setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and post-installation inspections in accordance with manufacturer, federal, state, OSHA, and other applicable requirements.
• Provide technical support, preventive-maintenance guidance, configuration advice, and user training for equipment, software, and hardware.
• Maintain service orders, confirmations, inventory records, expense reports, timesheets, and equipment documentation.
• Manage vehicle inventory, restock parts and supplies, and maintain company vehicles, tools, technology, and other assigned assets.
• Build productive relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues while meeting service response commitments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, or electronic work.
• Valid driver's license required upon hire.
• Basic computer and smartphone/tablet skills, with strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, operate machinery, travel frequently, and work in noisy or occasionally hazardous environments.
• Frequent travel to customer locations and overnight travel are required.

Nice to have

• Trade school training in carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, or electronic fields.
• Experience servicing and installing X-ray equipment.
• SAP experience.
• Certified, licensed, or registered veterinary technician credentials.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
