Equipment Service Technician (Drilling Equipment)

Location: On-site and field-based; work is performed in shop and customer field environments. Travel up to 80% annually is required.

What you will do

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and modify drilling equipment, machine components, and related machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and modifications in shop and customer field environments.
• Read and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, mechanical schematics, and technical documentation.
• Prepare accurate service records, daily work documentation, and risk assessments.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, coworkers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in safety planning, Toolbox Talks, and environmental, health, and safety activities.

Requirements

• Mechanical repair or equipment service experience, or equivalent technical school training.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain drilling equipment and related machinery.
• Ability to work independently in shop and field environments with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
• Must provide and maintain a personal set of tools and be willing to travel up to 80% annually.

Nice to have

• Spanish fluency for communication with Spanish-speaking clients.
• Additional mechanical repair experience.
