Platform Engineer (Hybrid) - DevOps/Full-Stack (Kubernetes)

Location: Hybrid role in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience

What you will do

• Deploy the RAD system across three network environments using Kubernetes and adapt configurations to each environment.
• Design, establish, and document repeatable deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Modify and troubleshoot Java Spring back-end and Vue.js front-end components.
• Diagnose issues across infrastructure, middleware, and application layers during environment standup and stabilization.
• Collaborate with DevOps, software development, and systems engineering teams on deployment practices and RAD architecture.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; a master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Docker, Linux administration, Git, and CI/CD experience.
• Experience developing or modifying Java/Spring Boot back-end applications and Vue.js front-end applications or comparable frameworks.
• Experience deploying distributed web applications.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying applications across isolated or classified network environments.
• AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and Python experience.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, NiFi, MongoDB, and government reporting and dissemination policies.
