TL;DR
Software Architect (.NET/AI): Designing scalable, secure software architectures, internal tools, APIs, developer platforms, and AI-enabled workflows with an accent on C#/.NET development, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and developer productivity. Focus on leading large-scale refactoring, modernizing engineering workflows, solving distributed-system and incident-response challenges, and establishing secure, API-driven standards across teams.
Location: Plano, Texas, United States. Hybrid in-office schedule: most team members work from the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Friday.

What you will do
- Lead complex architecture initiatives, large-scale refactoring, scalability improvements, security enhancements, and distributed-systems work.
- Design and develop applications, services, APIs, integrations, internal tools, developer tooling, and AI-enabled workflows using C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
- Define architecture patterns, development standards, reusable templates, documentation, playbooks, and engineering enablement practices.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, release automation, cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, and observability in partnership with DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
- Support database development with SQL Server, stored procedures, and queries, while contributing to PostgreSQL-related work as needed.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture reviews, proof-of-concept development, incident response, and cross-team implementation planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Expert-level production experience with C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
- Expert experience with AI-enabled development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, Git, GitHub, CI/CD automation, Docker, Linux, OAuth, APIs, REST, and secure software delivery.
- Ability to lead architecture reviews, communicate technical concepts to executive stakeholders, and collaborate across engineering and non-engineering departments.
Nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL, internal developer platforms, engineering enablement, or developer experience initiatives.
- Familiarity with Vue, React, full-stack development patterns, or property management and real estate technology domains.
- Experience with Auth0, Azure, or AWS.
