Senior Medical Science Liaison (Lung/Head & Neck Oncology)

Location: Based in the Rochester or Minneapolis, Minnesota territory, with travel to North Dakota and Iowa and up to 70% travel required.

Base pay: $137,000–$235,750 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute scientific engagement plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and medical objectives.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and academic and community clinical teams in thoracic, lung, and head and neck oncology.
• Lead balanced, non-promotional scientific exchange and translate complex clinical evidence into relevant discussions and presentations.
• Collect actionable insights on treatment trends, unmet needs, educational gaps, and territory opportunities.
• Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies, research inquiries, and connections with internal research and grant processes.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, R&D, clinical operations, global teams, and other cross-functional partners while maintaining compliance.

Requirements

• Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience, such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or an advanced practice provider qualification.
• Postgraduate experience for doctoral-level candidates and at least 2 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated MSL success.
• Strong scientific and therapeutic expertise in research, data analysis, clinical practice, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and collaboration.
• Valid US driver’s license required.
• Ability to support the defined territory with up to 70% travel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, computers, and remote technologies.
