Medical Science Liaison (Obesity)

Location: US - Ohio - Cleveland; field-based territory covering Cleveland, Ohio

Salary: $156,998.40–$212,409.60 annual base salary

What you will do

• Serve as the primary scientific and clinical resource for opinion leaders, community healthcare providers, and population health decision makers.
• Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchange on obesity and related conditions, including clinical, outcomes, and economic data.
• Engage clinical investigators and research sites in support of the obesity pipeline and sponsored research.
• Connect internal and external stakeholders and provide field insights to inform medical strategies.
• Lead or support congress activities, speaker training, project teams, and coordinated field engagement.
• Maintain scientific expertise, compliance, CRM records, training, and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or a master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
• Ability to build strong relationships and communicate scientific data effectively.
• Experience working with a designated territory and collaborating across field roles.
• Preferred background includes a Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O., as well as cardiometabolic or obesity expertise.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison in a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
• Four or more years in a medically related field, including clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
