Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Shopify)

Location: Fully remote for US-based candidates; EST working hours required.

Javvy is a better-for-you beverage brand expanding from direct-to-consumer sales into major retail through an omnichannel ecommerce business.

What you will do

• Build and maintain ecommerce experiences across Shopify and custom frontend and backend infrastructure.
• Work with Shopify APIs, product and variant data, cart behavior, checkout constraints, and webhooks.
• Develop frontend experiences with React, Next.js, and occasionally Vue, along with backend services, integrations, and internal tools.
• Extend Cloudflare Workers, reverse-proxy, split-testing, experimentation, and tracking infrastructure.
• Improve Recharge and customer portal subscription flows, including cancellations, product swaps, rebills, and retention features.
• Own pre-launch QA, release quality, production monitoring, and communication around technical risks.

Requirements

• Production experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, webhooks, and product, variant, cart, and checkout logic.
• Strong React and/or Next.js skills with TypeScript or modern JavaScript.
• Node.js or similar backend experience, API design skills, and experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Experience with Git/GitHub pull-request workflows, production deployments, debugging, and reliable maintainable software.
• US-based availability and EST working hours.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice to have

• Recharge or another subscription platform, including skip, delay, swap, rebill, and save-offer flows.
• Shopify Functions, Checkout Extensibility, Cloudflare Workers, reverse proxies, or edge infrastructure.
• A/B testing, experimentation, ecommerce analytics, attribution, and server-side tracking.
• Performance optimization for high-traffic ecommerce pages and internal ecommerce tools.
• Hands-on AI-assisted coding with tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT.
