Full-Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: 100% remote, based anywhere in the United States or Canada

Salary: $210,000–$230,000 annual base salary, depending on level, location, and experience, plus pre-IPO equity

Owner is an AI-native platform helping independent restaurants and other local businesses manage websites, online ordering, CRM, POS, customer demand, and daily operations.

What you will do

• Own the launch experience from Grader scan to a live Owner presence, including product surfaces, flows, and customer communications.
• Build automation, tooling, and AI-assisted setup to reduce manual work and increase launches per launch specialist.
• Develop upgrade flows and AI-powered product moments that grow self-serve ARR and adoption.
• Show customers measurable proof of value throughout the launch and upgrade journey.
• Partner with the AI Agents and Owner App teams to integrate AI-powered features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including meaningful customer-facing product development.
• Extensive TypeScript experience and strong React skills, with the ability to own frontend features end to end.
• Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and/or similar frontend and backend technologies.
• Experience building onboarding, activation, or upgrade flows where user experience and value communication affected outcomes.
• Experience shipping end-to-end in a product-focused startup or scale-up with a small team.
• Strong ownership, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive problem-solving skills.
