Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York City or Washington, D.C.; candidates must reside in or be able to commute to one of these locations and work from the office at least three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday. United States citizenship and an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance are required.

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 annually, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Architect and ship full-stack features from scoping and technical design through production.
• Build and integrate with Palantir Foundry ontologies and pipelines, AIP agents, and Maven Smart System workflows.
• Develop AI-powered intake flows, constituent assistants, automated case routing, and agency operator dashboards.
• Design within classification and data-handling constraints while maintaining platform reliability and performance.
• Set technical direction, establish code-quality standards, and make architectural decisions.
• Work with federal agency stakeholders and mentor earlier-career engineers through reviews, pairing, and feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional engineering experience owning complex features and systems.
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, AIP, or Maven Smart System, including ontologies, pipelines, or AIP agents.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Postgres.
• Experience shipping a real product, open-source project, or system personally designed and maintained.
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• Ability to work from the New York City or Washington, D.C. office at least three days per week is required.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping software in classified or accredited environments.
• Forward Deployed Engineer experience or experience integrating systems where Palantir was the prime contractor.
• Federal, state, local government, or other regulated high-stakes technology experience.
• Cloud deployment experience with AWS, Vercel, GitHub Actions, or ECS/Fargate.
• Experience with design systems, component libraries, and early-stage technical leadership.
