Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Onsite at 1375 Crossman Ave, Sunnyvale, California, United States

Salary: $117,000–$234,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Own feature and model delivery across implementation, iteration, testing, and ongoing support.
• Write reliable code and drive the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI and machine learning components, including generative AI tools, into software solutions.
• Translate high-level designs into scalable and maintainable platform solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, defect management, performance monitoring, and observability improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Extensive software development experience with languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, or C++.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, and technical documentation.
• Experience delivering scoped features or models through iterative development and continuous integration and deployment.
• Experience integrating AI/ML components and using generative AI tools.
• Solution design, technical leadership, design patterns, and scalable system development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 3 years of software engineering experience, or 5 years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
