Principal Engineer - Site Design

Location: Dallas, Fort Worth, Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, Texas, and Tulsa, United States. Flexible remote and hybrid work options are available, with travel required for in-office activities, client meetings, and site visits as needed.

What you will do

• Lead complex, large-scale site design projects from initial design through completion.
• Serve as the technical lead for advanced engineering assignments and make recommendations on specialized design standards.
• Analyze and review project documents for compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
• Develop engineering standards and guidelines while monitoring processes and resources for efficiency.
• Provide technical design training, mentoring, and leadership to engineering personnel.
• Coordinate with project managers to organize technical resources and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to established objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 8 years of related civil engineering experience.
• Registered professional with at least 4 years of experience supervising technical personnel.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D and strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel for in-office activities, client visits, and site visits as needed.
