Medical Science Liaison - Obesity - Winston-Salem, NC (Obesity)

Location: US — North Carolina — Winston-Salem. Field-based territory includes Winston-Salem, High Point, Statesville, Greensboro, Asheboro, Hickory, Salisbury, and Burlington.

Salary: $156,998.40–$212,409.60 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Serve as a primary scientific and clinical resource for obesity opinion leaders, healthcare providers, population health decision makers, and clinical investigators.
• Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchanges and communicate balanced clinical, outcomes, and economic data.
• Engage clinical investigators and research sites in support of the obesity pipeline and sponsored research.
• Connect internal and external stakeholders, provide field insights, and inform medical strategy.
• Support congress activities, speaker training, project teams, and coordinated field engagement.
• Maintain scientific expertise and complete CRM, expense, compliance, and training responsibilities.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree; or a master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, clinical practice, clinical research, medical research, post-doctoral training, residencies, or fellowships.
• Strong scientific communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in the designated North Carolina territory and perform field-based responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
• At least 1 year of Medical Affairs experience.
• Cardiometabolic or obesity expertise.
• Current experience at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
• Experience working with a designated territory.
