Operational Risk & Wellness Manager

Location: Belle Glade, Florida, United States; travel to designated project sites is required

What you will do

• Oversee project safety disciplines and monitor day-to-day construction operations.
• Implement the project safety program, including site safety policies, procedures, orientations, and safety meetings.
• Monitor heavy construction work for compliance and stop unsafe work when necessary.
• Assess risks, investigate incidents, and analyze project safety statistics.
• Monitor budgetary guidelines and cost-control measures.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and the regional safety team.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in a construction safety supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and excellent motivational skills.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of a security background screening.
• Ability to work in construction-site conditions, including standing, walking, crawling, bending, reaching, climbing, and exposure to high noise levels.

Nice to have

• OSHA 500 or equivalent.
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
