Salary: $73,700–$104,633 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical safety consulting and recommend measures to minimize employee injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct hazard identification, accident investigations, worksite observations, annual safety audits, ergonomic assessments, and focused self-assessments.
• Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local safety and health regulations and recommend compliance options.
• Develop safety lesson plans and deliver new-hire orientations and annual OSHA-required training.
• Advise management, employees, safety committees, and contractors on safety expectations and compliance.
• Support contractor safety coordination during overhauls and other projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in the safety field.
• Recognized safety certification required.
• Working knowledge of current safety regulations and regulatory compliance practices.
• Certified Safety Professional designation from BCSP preferred.
