Controller (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop financial strategies, plans, budgets, forecasts, and scenario analyses aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the finance and accounting organization across multiple sites and countries.
• Oversee monthly financial close activities and the preparation of financial statements, reports, forecasts, and segment-based reporting.
• Establish internal controls and manage compliance, customer and supplier setup, commissions, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
• Maintain the currency hedging program and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Provide financial guidance on investments, capital expenditures, and strategic business decisions.

Requirements

• Expertise in financial and managerial accounting, financial controls, accounting principles, financial regulations, and GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior finance role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with project and change management, process improvement, automation, and stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership, team-building, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in Cookeville, Tennessee, United States.

Nice to have

• MBA and/or CPA.
• Experience with SyteLine ERP.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
