Purchasing Specialist - Manufacturing

Location: Georgetown, Texas, United States; office-based at the manufacturing facility

Salary: $76,800–$102,400 annual base compensation

What you will do

• Manage daily procurement activities for production using Remarcable ordering software.
• Develop purchasing strategies for materials, equipment, and services while meeting production and cost objectives.
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and terms, and maintain strategic vendor relationships.
• Develop inventory models, set replenishment levels, and implement Vendor Managed Inventory opportunities.
• Analyze pricing, market trends, supplier performance, inventory status, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with production, scheduling, quality control, receiving, design, and engineering teams to ensure material quality and accurate bills of materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience in electrical or manufacturing sectors.
• Successful experience with supplier negotiations and cost management.
• Strong understanding of electrical components and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
