Procurement Manager (Automotive/EV)

Location: San Francisco, CA or another approved hiring location. Travel is required based on the expansion schedule, including travel to launch locations and onsite readiness support.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annual base salary for a San Francisco hiring location. The range may vary by geographic hiring location.

What you will do

• Lead procurement planning and execution for new Sales and Recon locations.
• Define equipment, tools, supplies, inventory, and purchasing requirements for each site.
• Source, evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors across operational and facility needs.
• Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and manage purchase orders, deliveries, installations, and vendor schedules.
• Track budgets, invoices, committed and outstanding spend, purchasing records, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Establish standard equipment and supply packages, preferred vendor lists, reorder points, and a procurement playbook for future launches.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, vendor management, operations, or a related field.
• Experience managing multiple vendors, purchase orders, budgets, and delivery timelines.
• Strong negotiation, vendor relationship management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Project Management, Accounting, and site leadership.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed for new site launches, vendor coordination, procurement activities, and onsite operational readiness.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, retail, construction, facilities, or multi-site operations.
• Experience supporting new site openings or expansion programs.
