Liaison Engineer (Nuclear Energy)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom; regular travel to Germany is required.

What you will do

• Act as the primary interface between Rolls-Royce SMR and hirify.global.
• Drive project delivery and governance across multinational engineering teams.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering outputs.
• Clarify technical interfaces, responsibilities, schedules, and issues with customers, consultants, and partners.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs while monitoring quality, timelines, budgets, risks, and project progress.
• Support the Project Manager and promote continuous improvement across the programme.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in engineering, project management, or a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering roles related to power generation projects.
• General engineering knowledge with strong expertise in at least one power plant engineering discipline.
• Ability to understand engineering interfaces and information exchange between internal and external disciplines.
• Leadership capability to guide internationally distributed engineering teams.
• Experience leading projects to deliver customer-focused results.

Nice to have

• APM or IPMA certification.
