Senior Project Manager (Battery Storage)

Location: Erlangen, Germany; on-site commissioning activities are required.

What you will do

• Lead international battery storage projects, primarily in Germany, across planning, execution, commissioning, and compliance.
• Control project scope, schedule, cost, quality, milestones, and workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate stakeholders, customers, suppliers, site management, and internal leadership.
• Analyze customer requirements, define project specifications, and manage supplier deliverables.
• Monitor project status, adjust scope and budgets, and manage claims and project risks.
• Prepare transparent progress reporting and coordinate on-site commissioning activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Project Manager experience in plant construction or EPC.
• Experience in energy, grid solutions, wind, or renewable energy sectors is preferred.
• German at native or C1 level and professional English are required.
• Project Management certification and a Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience managing demanding customers and complex projects, with strong technical and commercial skills.
• Leadership ability and collaboration across all management levels.
