Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Mt Vernon, Ohio, USA; onsite only with no remote work option

Company

Manufactures and distributes sheet metal products and fittings for residential, multifamily, and light commercial HVAC markets.

What you will do

• Oversee first-shift production operations and ensure production goals and schedules are met.
• Lead production workers through workstation assignments, rotations, shift meetings, training, feedback, and performance management.
• Monitor quality control, adjust processes during the shift, and reject products outside specifications.
• Support plant safety policies, investigate and report accidents, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Manage shift documentation, attendance, payroll information, time cards, production sheets, and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate with other shift supervisors and the plant manager while following SOPs, JSAs, and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
• Professional communication, time management, attention to detail, and dependability.
• Ability to work regularly in a warehouse environment with possible loud noise, vibration, temperature changes, and moving objects or vehicles.
