Director, Regional Practice (Healthcare Revenue Cycle)

Location: Work at home in Roanoke, Virginia, with a field role across Central Virginia and up to 75% travel within the assigned region. The position is limited to individuals who reside and are authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with physician practice leaders to improve revenue cycle and operational performance.
• Identify workflow gaps, operational barriers, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Improve patient access, denials, point-of-service collections, cash performance, and other front-end metrics.
• Lead onsite coaching, training, and change management initiatives.
• Standardize best practices and support operational transformation across ambulatory and physician practices.
• Collaborate with clinical, revenue cycle, technology, and client leadership teams to achieve performance goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of physician practice revenue cycle experience, including patient access, denials, point-of-service collections, cash performance, and revenue cycle optimization.
• 3–5 years of experience leading physician practice operations as a Practice Manager, Practice Director, or in a similar role.
• Proven ability to influence leaders, drive behavior change, and improve performance without direct reporting authority.
• Data-driven approach to identifying root causes and implementing sustainable operational improvements.
• Experience with large, integrated healthcare systems or multi-site physician groups.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
