Principal Product Designer (AI Experiences)

What you will do

• Own product design for defined feature areas from problem framing through production-ready Figma files.
• Work in cross-functional squads with engineers and product managers to make product decisions and ship solutions.
• Plan and conduct user interviews, JTBD analysis, and journey mapping, combining qualitative findings with quantitative signals.
• Design AI-driven features, including prompts, fallbacks, and human-in-the-loop interactions.
• Contribute reusable components and patterns to the hirify.global design system.
• Apply WCAG 2.1+ accessibility standards and design for edge cases, error states, and real-world data.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of end-to-end product design experience, from discovery through shipped products.
• Experience independently conducting research and translating findings into design direction.
• Experience working in cross-functional squads with engineers and product managers.
• Strong Figma skills and visual design capability.
• Accessibility must be considered as a core design constraint from the beginning.
• Ability to measure design outcomes using task success rates, support-ticket volume, adoption, funnel data, or A/B results.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping AI-driven features with prompts, fallbacks, and human-in-the-loop moments.
• Familiarity with design tokens, contribution models, and system-level design.
