Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office. Remote candidates will also be considered.

Salary: $162,000–$178,500 annually for the New York market.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end product design across web, iOS, and Android from initial sketches through production.
• Create and manage design systems for two new consumer AI products.
• Design complex, novel journeys from a user prompt to restaurant creation and AI-assisted meal planning.
• Set the visual direction across product interfaces, the marketing site, and packaging.
• Ship product improvements weekly in close collaboration with engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping consumer products across web and native mobile, including iOS and Android.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, systems thinking, and end-to-end product work.
• Experience leading complex product initiatives with product, engineering, and design leadership.
• Experience shaping ambiguous strategic problem spaces and influencing product direction through clear storytelling.
• Experience designing AI products or a clear perspective on AI product design.
• Ability to prototype in code or willingness to learn.
